Preface
Nature is the greatest teacher. It speaks to us in many ways — through colours, sounds, silence, and even through the smallest living beings. Every tree, bird, insect, and river carries a story. If we observe carefully, we can learn valuable lessons from them.
Wonders in Nature is a humble attempt to bring such amazing facts and beautiful truths of nature to the readers in a simple and interesting way. This book presents various natural wonders — from the smallest organisms to the largest living beings, from short-lived creatures to those that live for thousands of years.
In today’s fast-moving world, many of us have moved away from nature. We see it, but we do not observe it. We use it, but we do not understand it. This book is written to reconnect the reader with nature and to create curiosity, awareness, and respect for the natural world.
Each chapter is written in simple English so that students, general readers, and nature lovers can easily understand and enjoy it. Along with scientific facts, every topic also carries a small message — because nature not only informs us, it also inspires us.
I sincerely hope that this book will encourage readers to look at nature with new eyes, think deeply, and appreciate the beauty and intelligence hidden all around us.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported this work in various ways. My sincere thanks to everyone who encouraged, guided, and stood by me during the preparation of this book.
Thank you to all who support this work.
Nature is not just outside us — it is a part of us.
